Why 4W? A Family Legacy Rooted in Texas Soil

There are four Wright family members who established the 4W Ranch outside of Normangee and registered the 4W symbol as a livestock brand — a mark now carried forward as the brand behind our new venture. Our journey to the Armory was long and winding, a welcome challenge after years spent working in the oil and gas industry.

David, born in Texas and raised in New Mexico, grew up loving the outdoors, camping and hunting with his father and brothers. Oksana hailed all the way from Eastern Europe, becoming a proud Texan several decades ago. It took only one sporting clay event to win her over — the thrill of hitting a target, the aroma of spent gun powder, and the exhilarating high of the win.
